A growing national organization is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support their growing team. Based in Vancouver and supporting locations across Canada, this role is designed to strengthen HR leadership capacity and improve alignment between people strategy and overall business objectives. This position operates as a senior-level partner to the business, balancing strategic leadership with a strong, hands-on approach to execution. In a fast-paced, sales-driven environment, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting leaders, driving performance, and ensuring consistent HR practices across multiple regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner leadership to develop and implement human resources strategies aligned with organizational priorities
  • Contribute to organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy across multiple regions
  • Provide coaching and strategic guidance to leaders on performance management, employee engagement, and team effectiveness
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on people-related and business matters
  • Provide subject matter expertise on employee relations issues across multiple provinces
  • Lead workplace investigations and support the resolution of complex employee matters
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation and standards across Canada
  • Deliver balanced, risk-aware solutions that align with business objectives
  • Support recruitment initiatives for key roles within the organization, as required
  • Partner with leadership on succession planning and the development of high-potential employees
  • Facilitate performance management processes and advise leaders on performance-related matters
  • Assess organizational capability gaps and support targeted development initiatives
  • Maintain an effective operational HR presence, supporting day-to-day human resources activities
  • Utilize HRIS platforms to manage data, reporting, and workforce insights
  • Analyze key HR metrics, including turnover, retention, and performance trends, to inform decision-making
  • Support compensation planning and ensure alignment with internal equity and external market benchmarks
  • Provide in-person HR support to locations across Canada through regular travel (travel is expected around 5 business days per month)
  • Promote consistency in HR practices while accommodating regional requirements
  • Foster strong working relationships across geographically dispersed teams

Qualifications:

  • CPHR designation is a major asset
  • Extensive progressive experience in human resources, including a significant tenure in senior leadership roles
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in HR
  • HR experience in sales and service oriented environment - this is a must
  • Demonstrated success supporting complex, multi-site operations at a regional or national level
  • Experience navigating Canadian employment legislation across multiple Provinces
  • Experience operating within high-performance, sales-oriented, or fast-paced environments is preferred
  • Proven ability to translate strategic priorities into effective, hands-on execution
  • Strong commercial and business acumen, with a track record of aligning people strategies to organizational performance
  • Pragmatic, results-oriented approach, with the credibility to operate at both strategic and operational levels
  • Exceptional judgment, professionalism, and discretion in managing sensitive and complex matters
  • Highly developed stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization
  • Advanced capability in leveraging HRIS platforms to drive data-informed decision-making, reporting, and process optimization
  • Strong analytical skill set, including advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with platforms such as SharePoint and issue tracking software
  • Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in dynamic environments, managing competing priorities with focus and discipline
