We are proud to always see challenges as an opportunity to grow with our people.ResponsibilitiesCreation of M&E concepts in coordination with the sales engineer and clientPreparation of concept, preliminary and construction issue plansPreparation of plans on GOLDBECK CAD systemIntegral cooperation with internal departments and external planning officesManagement and checking of external design offices employed to do our MEP DesignConsultation and coordination with client side partners including meetings with the clients as required.Calculation of small to medium-sized technical building systemsCalculation and design of technical building systems with software supportDetermination of quantities, preparation of lists of services and requirementsPreparation of bills of quantities and invitations to tender as well as support in awarding contracts to subcontractorsQuality and cost comparison between the calculation and the execution after submission of the subcontractor offersThe processing is carried out on the basis of the CAD tool REVIT or corresponding applications, model- and database-orientedThe planning system follows the GOLDBECK BIM strategyProfileDegree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards) /Candidates with HNC or HND with suitable design experience will also be considered.Minimum of 3-4 years experience of design in building services, post qualification completionExperience of Software design using – Revit, Microsoft suite of programmes, Relux/Dialux, AmtechKnowledge of British and European Standards, Building Regulations documents etc.Knowledge of HTM’s would be beneficialProfessional Membership (CIBSE, IET) would be beneficialA good understanding of HV/LV systemsKnowledge of integration of embedded generationAn understanding and specification of incorporating various renewable technologiesWorking knowledge of BREEAM / LEEDAn appreciation of mechanical and electrical engineering to be able to cover both disciplines at meetingsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenA strong willingness to learn and a desire to develop new and existing solutionsAre you interested in applying for this position?
