* Creation of M&E concepts in coordination with the sales engineer and client
* Preparation of concept, preliminary and construction issue plans
* Preparation of plans on GOLDBECK CAD system
* Integral cooperation with internal departments and external planning offices
* Management and checking of external design offices employed to do our MEP Design
* Consultation and coordination with client side partners including meetings with the clients as required
* Calculation of small to medium-sized technical building systems
* Calculation and design of technical building systems with software support
* Determination of quantities, preparation of lists of services and requirements
* Preparation of bills of quantities and invitations to tender as well as support in awarding contracts to subcontractors
* Quality and cost comparison between the calculation and the execution after submission of the subcontractor offers
* The processing is carried out on the basis of the CAD tool REVIT or corresponding applications, model- and database-oriented
* The planning system follows the GOLDBECK BIM strategy
* Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards) / Candidates with HNC or HND with suitable design experience will also be considered
* Minimum of 3-4 years experience of design in building services, post qualification completion
* Experience of Software design using – Revit, Microsoft suite of programmes, Relux/Dialux, Amtech
* Knowledge of British and European Standards, Building Regulations documents etc.
* Knowledge of HTM’s would be beneficial
* Professional Membership (CIBSE, IET) would be beneficial
* A good understanding of HV/LV systems
* Knowledge of integration of embedded generation
* An understanding and specification of incorporating various renewable technologies
* Working knowledge of BREEAM / LEED
* An appreciation of mechanical and electrical engineering to be able to cover both disciplines at meetings
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* A strong willingness to learn and a desire to develop new and existing solutions
