My client is a leading design and engineering consultancy and they are looking for a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their team in London. The Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor will quickly become an integral part of the site based team delivering cutting-edge mechanical, electrical, fire and communication systems for London's state-of-the-art HS2 Station at Old Oak Common.

My client is seeking an experienced, innovative Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor with strong pre and post-contract management expertise in the UK rail or infrastructure sectors and an in-depth understanding of NEC3/4 contracts. In this role, you'll drive efficiencies, engage supply chains, manage risks, and lead commercial negotiations and cost reporting on an exciting, complex and high profile project.

Essential requirements include:

  • A relevant degree
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Proven main contractor or large MEP subcontractor experience
  • An in-depth knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts
  • First class communication skills
