An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Technician / Electrical Engineer to join a highly advanced engineering environment supporting complex electrical systems across a major technical facility. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of plant and equipment including control systems, power conversion systems, and LV/HV electrical distribution equipment within a fast-paced operational setting.
As the Electrical Engineer / Electrical Technician, you'll play a key part in supporting maintenance, installation, fault finding and commissioning activities across critical electrical infrastructure and specialist plant systems.
Key responsibilities include:- Supporting inspection and testing activities in line with BS7671 and site codes of practice
- Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and repair work across plant systems
- Assisting with fault finding on control systems, electrical cubicles and power conversion equipment
- Supporting the build and commissioning of new electrical equipment
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation and safe systems of work
- Taking ownership of technical tasks and delivering work safely and efficiently
- Supporting wider facility operations as required
Experience:
- Apprentice trained with industrial electrical experience
- Experience working on 3-phase power systems
