We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our small, dynamic team. This is a pivotal role focused exclusively on attracting new customers and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for prospecting, building strategic partnerships, leading prospect marketing initiatives, delivering product demos, and closing deals. Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Networking: Identify and engage potential clients and represent Gold-Vision through networking, events, and outbound strategies.
  • Partnership Development: Build and manage high value strategic alliances to generate leads and expand market reach.
  • Work with a Virtual Marketing Team: Own prospect marketing and lead generation to attract new names and generate captivating campaigns (supported by our in-house designer).
  • Sales Process Ownership: Understand and advise on customer requirements, deliver professional product demos, manage proposals, negotiate terms, and create compelling business cases and close deals.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate CRM data and report on new business performance. Provide insights to improve strategies and optimize engagement.
  • Market Insight: Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Reporting: Report directly to management on progress, performance, and strategic recommendations.
  • Team Development: Hire and develop junior team members as needed, based on role requirements and business growth objectives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B SaaS or technology sales/business development.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in construction, manufacturing, or software markets is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong networking, consultative selling, and relationship management. Intuitive at building trusted relationships and proficient with growing their network and using social media.
  • Mindset: Self-starter, commercially driven, comfortable working independently.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation, professional communication, excellent verbal and written communication for influencing stakeholders with strong negotiation skills.

We are looking for an individual who is highly autonomous and hands-on with the sales process through the end to end journey. This person must demonstrate a strong willingness and capability to work towards a strategic direction through frequently reported tactical measurables and ultimately grow the department. They should combine practical execution skills with the vision to scale operations and lead future team development. They should demonstrate experience in business transformation consultancy, leveraging CRM systems or similar tools, and show practical knowledge and application of AI to drive business transformation.

Location / Hybrid

Central Northampton, UK (3:2 Hybrid). Travel to prospect sites and events will be required, with expenses paid for business mileage. There is the potential requirement to provide out-of-hours demos for international customers if required remotely. Your own car is necessary, with full driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
