We are currently recruiting for an experienced Skilled Groundworker / Hard Landscaper to join a busy and established team working across various projects throughout the GU postcode area. This is an excellent full-time, long-term opportunity for a skilled and reliable tradesperson with strong experience across both groundworks and hard landscaping.
The Role
You will be carrying out a varied range of groundworks and hard landscaping duties across different projects. We are looking for someone who is confident working independently, takes pride in the quality of their work and has a strong all-round skill set. Duties will include:
- Porcelain paving
- Natural stone paving
- Block paving
- Groundworks and excavation
- Concrete works and finishing
- Sub-base preparation
- Drainage and soakaways
- Retaining walls
- Fencing and gates
- Concrete bases and foundations
- Kerbing and edging
- Driveway construction
- Setting out, levels and falls
- General hard landscaping and groundworks
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Groundworker, Hard Landscaper or Multi-Skilled Landscaper
- Strong paving experience, including porcelain and natural stone
- Good knowledge of ground preparation, drainage, levels and falls
- Ability to complete work to a high standard
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, professional and able to work as part of a team
- Experience in brick and blockwork would be advantageous.
- Experience operating a mini digger would also be desirable but is not essential.
