Experienced Passive Fire Door Installer required for long-term work across London. Gold Staffing Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established passive fire protection contractor with a growing portfolio of commercial, residential and public sector projects throughout London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced installer looking for consistent, long-term work with a professional contractor.
The Role
- You'll be responsible for installing certified fire door sets to the highest standard, ensuring all work complies with current fire safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Typical duties include:
- Installation of FD30 & FD60 fire door sets
- Fitting fire door frames, ironmongery, hinges, closers and hardware
- Installing intumescent strips and smoke seals
- Carrying out remedial works where required
- Reading drawings and working independently
- Completing work in line with fire safety regulations and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience installing passive fire doors
- Valid CSCS Card
- NVQ Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery (preferred)
- Fire door installation qualification (FIRAS, BM TRADA, BRE or equivalent desirable)
- Own tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to programme and maintain excellent quality
- Full PPE
