dnata Travel Group B2B is an award-winning tour operator with over 40 years of experience in tailor-making holidays to worldwide destinations across 4 specialist travel brands: Gold Medal, Pure Luxury, Cruise Plus, and Incredible Journeys. We are part of the dnata Travel Group family, owned by the Emirates Group. We are delighted to be recruiting again for Travel Consultants to join us at our bright, modern office in Leyland.
In this role, you will be taking inbound calls from travel agents, matching their requirements to ensure their customers have the perfect holiday. You will use your customer service skills and travel knowledge to recommend products that will enhance the customers' holiday experience. Our Sales Team is well-known for providing exceptional customer service, so we need exceptional people who can build relationships with our agents to guarantee repeat business and continue to provide the personal service we are known for.
This is a great opportunity to use your passion for travel alongside your sales skills, with no need to be involved with aftersales queries and amendments, as our Customer Service Team will take over post-booking.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week over 5 days Monday-Saturday, 9am-6pm. You may work later during peak periods and may also be required for the occasional Sunday shift on reduced hours.
Ideally, you will have strong travel sales experience or have travelled extensively, whether that be cruising, touring, round-the-world trips, or long-haul family holidays. Alongside this, we need you to have great customer service and sales skills. We will also consider applications from anyone with a Travel & Tourism qualification.
When you join us, you'll have an initial 3-week interactive training period with our in-house training team. You'll then join our Academy with dedicated support from our Coaching Team alongside support from your team manager. You will have lots of opportunities to enhance your product and destination knowledge, including product training from our destination team and suppliers. You'll have the chance to attend supplier events where you can meet others in the industry as well as learn about a product or destination.
