I am recruiting on behalf of a leading infrastructure contractor delivering a high-profile infrastructure project in West London. They are looking for a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in major infrastructure projects, a strong understanding of the NEC contract and the change management process to take the lead on managing change across a complex, fast-moving and high value project.
Some of the Senior Quantity Surveyor's key responsibilities will include:
- Manage change events from identification through to agreement and close-out
- Assess compensation events, variations and claims
- Draft commercial responses and support negotiation
- Work closely with Engineering & Project teams to ensure commercial governance
- Prepare and update forecasts, reports and cost analysis
- Contribute to risk, value and cost management strategies
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on large infrastructure or civil engineering projects in the UK
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts - essential
- Confidence handling change management processes and CE submissions
- Excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced client-facing environment
- Available to work on site 3 days per week
Contract Details:
- Outside IR35
- 6-month initial term with the opportunity for an extension
- £500-£530 per day
- Immediate or short-notice availability advantageous
