- 4 on, 4 off BriefLead Electrical Engineer needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Westminster, London who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Lead Electrical Engineer that takes pride in their work and has a strong understanding of electrical fault finding, diagnosis, repairs and reactive maintenance. The successful candidate would have a relevant qualification
- i.e.
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations, 18th Edition etc.
- and have a keen interest in Electrical Engineering.
If you have commercial experience in Facilities Management that would be a plus!
BenefitsSalary: 52,400 per annum24 day's holiday plus public holidaysLife Cover two times your annual salaryEmployee discount schemes on major brands and retailersGym membership discountsCycle to Work SchemeHoliday Purchase SchemeCorporate Social Responsibility daysLearning and development opportunitiesSupport for professional qualificationsEmployee Referral ProgrammeAccess to employee networks and wellbeing resources24 hour Employee Assistance ProgrammeWhat the role entails: Some of the main duties of the Lead Electrical Engineer will include: Complete planned preventative and reactive maintenance across single phase and three phase electrical systemsAct as the main Electrical Authorised Person on site following the required training and assessmentDiagnose faults, source parts and complete electrical repairs, inspections and testingSupport electrical shutdown planning, project works, specialist contractors and the wider engineering teamWhat experience you need to be the successful Lead Electrical Engineer: Experienced in planned preventative and reactive maintenance of electrical infrastructure within a building services environmentQualified to the 18th Edition and experienced in inspection and testingQualified to City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent level, including Level 3 electrical installation engineeringQualified in installing and commissioning electrotechnical systems, with AM1 and AM2 achievement (Desirable)Able to complete electrical repairs, Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing in accordance with the current edition of BS7671Able to work independently, use initiative and apply practical problem solvingComfortable working with clients, colleagues and specialist subcontractorsAble to demonstrate sound judgement and a commitment to high standards of safety and workmanshipCurrently holding CTC clearance or able to obtain CTC clearanceThis role requires CTC clearance due to the government environment.
