The Role: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Supply Chain Administrator to support our Procurement and Supply Chain team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in purchasing or supply chain administration who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with data, systems, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately complete data entry and maintenance within the company ERP system
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, lead times, and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records
- Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up to ensure on-time delivery
- Support supplier contract execution and ensure compliance with internal procedures
- Prepare reports and maintain supply chain documentation
- Provide general administrative support to the Procurement team as required
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain role
- Strong organisational, planning, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. IFS or similar)
- Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
