We are currently representing a highly respected, leading main contractor and supporting them with their search for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to act as the Commercial Lead on a flagship project in Central London. This is a rare chance to work on a truly unique and prestigious scheme that involves the £90m+ transformation of a listed building into 40 super prime residential apartments and construction of state-of-the-art facilities including an underground gym, spa and swimming pool.
Our client is looking for a commercially astute and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or established Commercial Lead to take the reins and take the project through the final stages. With all major procurement now complete, your key focus will be on leading the commercial function through the crucial delivery phase to final completion.
Reporting to the projects leadership team, you will manage and mentor the existing site-based team. Your responsibilities will be focused on post-contract duties, including:
- Overseeing all downstream commercial activities and ensuring project profitability.
- Managing variations, valuations, and applications for payment.
- Producing accurate cost reports, forecasts, and financial statements.
