An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a long‑term, 5‑year utilities framework in Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS to take full end‑to‑end commercial ownership across a large portfolio of exciting capital delivery projects.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing all commercial aspects from early cost planning through to final accounts
- Working closely with operations teams to ensure robust commercial governance
- Overseeing subcontract procurement, payments, change management and reporting
- Supporting the framework’s commercial strategy and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Strong UK utilities sector experience (water, power, gas or similar)
- Proven track record in commercial management on main contractor‑side projects
- Experience with the NEC suite of contracts
- Ability to commute to Bournemouth on a regular basis (local candidates preferred)
- Comfortable working inside IR35 through an umbrella company
This role offers stability, long‑term work and the chance to be part of a major capital programme with a respected Tier 1 contractor. The rate on offer is £450 to £500, paid via an Umbrella company.
