Senior Quantity Surveyor – MEICA – Water Sector Location: Glasgow + Hybrid Working Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 + package I\’m working with a leading civil engineering contractor who deliver MEICA works across the water sector, and they\’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their thriving team in Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of long-term framework work, where you\’ll be given the responsibility, trust, and autonomy to manage the commercial delivery of key projects while benefiting from the support of an experienced senior leadership team. The Role: As Senior QS, you\’ll be the commercial lead on a portfolio of MEICA projects within the water sector, typically involving upgrades, refurbishments, and new installations to pumping stations, treatment works, and other essential water infrastructure. You\’ll be responsible for: Managing costs and maximising value on projects from £1m-£20m Contract administration (NEC) Managing subcontract procurement and accounts Working closely with operational teams to deliver projects profitably and efficiently Reporting on commercial performance and providing forecasts to senior management You\’ll Need: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS within civil engineering, utilities, or ideally MEICA works NEC contract experience is essential Strong stakeholder management skills – able to work with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams alike Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially astute UK driving licence Why Apply?
