Gold Group is working with a leading systems integrator delivering cutting-edge residential technology solutions across the UK and internationally. Our client specialises in fully integrated AV, lighting, control, networking and security systems for prestigious private homes and large-scale developments.
We are looking for an experienced Senior AV Engineer to take a key technical role in the delivery of high-end residential projects, from installation through to commissioning and handover.
The Role
- Leading on-site installation and commissioning of complex AV systems
- Advanced fault-finding and technical problem solving
- Programming, configuration and commissioning of integrated systems
- Rack building, panel wiring and system testing
- Interpreting and working from detailed drawings and schematics
- Mentoring installers and junior engineers on site
- Liaising closely with project managers, clients and other trades
- Supporting handover, documentation and aftercare where required
Experience Required
- Extensive experience within AV systems integration, ideally residential
- Strong commissioning and troubleshooting capability
- Proven experience with control and integration platforms (e.g. Crestron, Lutron, KNX or similar)
- Excellent understanding of AV signal flow and networking fundamentals
- Confident leading on-site delivery and representing the business professionally
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas
- Programming experience (Crestron, Lutron or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
