Benefits Salary: £27,000 per annum plus Van and fuel card 24 day's Holiday plus Public Holidays Employee discount shopping schemes on major brands and retailers Gym membership discounts Holiday purchase scheme 2 paid volunteering days a year Season ticket loan Broad range of learning opportunities, such as professional qualifications, collective/individual training, and personalized support programmes Attractive Employee Referral Rewards Scheme 24/7 Employee Assistance Program and access to mental wellbeing app What the role entails: Some of the main duties of the Mobile Maintenance Assistant will include: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager To undertake any allocated jobs as directed by Maintenance Manager, in line with requests sent via PDA/mobile devices To respond promptly and efficiently to breakdowns and ensure all associated paperwork is completed in a satisfactory, accurate and prompt manner To carry out general duties including support by manual labour for relocations and moves, tidying and cleaning Estates areas and Plant rooms. Work alone with minimum supervision or within a team to carry out routine maintenance, repair, and cleaning activity across the estate Responsible for ensuring cleaning materials and chemicals are available at all sites Required to attend training programmes as necessary to meet contract requirements and for self-development purposes. Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch break plus participation in the on-call rota (1 in 8 which includes weekends).What experience you need to be the successful Mobile Maintenance Assistant: Experience in a maintenance role and of PPM completion is desirable Good customer care and people skills Ability to work well in a team or unsupervised Basic fabric handyperson skills Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures Must have a full valid UK driving licence due to requirement to travel between sites across Greater ManchesterDue to the nature of the contract, successful postholder must be able to obtain and maintain security vetting This really is a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile Maintenance Assistant to progress their career.
