Mobile Fabric Engineer West Midlands - Birmingham £28,000 - £30,000 + Van + Fuel Card Mobile Fabric Engineer needed for a well-known, large Facilities Management organisation based in Birmingham who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Fabric Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of planned and reactive fabric maintenance, meeting KPIs and SLAs and completing remedial works. The successful candidate would desirably have relevant experience in fabric maintenance in a commercial setting and have a keen interest in fabric engineering. Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum + Van & Fuel card ~24 days annual leave increasing to 25 days once 2 years' service is reached (+ public holidays) ~ Life Cover equivalent to 1.5 times annual salary ~ Employee discount shopping schemes on major brands and retailers and Gym membership discounts ~ Holiday purchase scheme ~Broad range of learning opportunities, such as professional qualifications, collective/individual training, and personalized support programmes ~ Attractive Employee Referral Rewards Scheme ~ Access to our growing employee networks and 24/7 Employee Assistance Program and access to mental wellbeing app Some of the main duties of the Mobile Fabric Engineer will include: Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across all building areas, including joinery, basic plumbing, painting, plastering, tiling, flooring, roofing, fence fitting, ground repair, door repair and general building repairs Complete minor repairs and remedial works to doors, windows, locks, ironmongery, ceilings, walls, fixtures and fittings Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to required specifications and within set timeframes Identify building fabric defects, recommend remedial actions and provide accurate material lists and timescales Ensure building fabric assets are kept safe, secure and in good condition across all sites Participate in the on-call rota What experience you need to be the successful Mobile Fabric Engineer : ~ Strong knowledge of building fabric systems ~(Valid driving licence ~ This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists, therefore ability to pass is essential.
