M&E Commercial Manager – Specialist M&E Contractor

We are working with a market-leading specialist contractor renowned for delivering complex mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications works on some of the UK\’s most high-profile infrastructure and building projects. With an outstanding reputation for technical expertise and successful project delivery, they are seeking a Commercial Manager to join their team on a landmark project in North London.

As part of a major Joint Venture, the successful M&E Commercial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the commercial and contractual aspects of the fit-out phase on a high-value infrastructure project. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role on a project of national significance, working alongside a large, motivated team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all commercial activities across the project, ensuring financial performance and contractual compliance.
Provide expert guidance on contracts, claims, and risk management.
Support and mentor the commercial team, driving best practice in cost control and reporting.
Build and maintain strong relationships with the client, JV partners, and supply chain.
Deliver accurate financial forecasting and monthly reporting to senior stakeholders.
About You:

Proven experience in a Commercial Manager role within specialist contracting, M&E, or infrastructure.
Strong understanding of NEC contracts and major project delivery.
Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive within a Joint Venture environment
