Job Title: Lead FPGA Engineer Location: Luton – On-site 4+ days/week Role Type: Contract – Initial 6 months+ Rate: £80.00 – £100.00 per hour Inside IR35 Our client, an established aerospace engineering consultancy firm, require an experienced Lead FPGA Engineer to join their multi-disciplined team. The Lead FPGA Engineer would be responsible the success of the engineering activities within an Integrated FPGA Product Team or one of the products within a FPGA Product Line. ** Please note we can only consider sole UK Nationals (no dual nationalities) ** What the role of the Lead FPGA Engineer entails: Some of the main duties of the Lead FPGA Engineer will include: Manage a FPGA Engineering Team to deliver the project outcomes Ensure that the FPGA Engineering activities are well planned, costed and scheduled with the Project Planning and Project Management Community. The plans will follow best practise WBS and resource plans captured appropriately. Ensure with the Engineering Manager, that the FPGA engineering team has a well-documented Engineering Plan and that the plan is followed Report on progress of the Engineering plan as needed Ensure the FPGA Engineering team follows an effectively tailored Life Cycle Management Process, leading the Design Reviews.
