Lead Developer is needed for our client based in Corby, Northamptonshire, who are looking to employ an experienced lead Developer with proven ability to lead a small development team with a strong background in web development, ideally with experience in .NET Core, C#, and modern front-end frameworks.
As the lead developer you will play a key role in reducing legacy systems, building shared libraries, and guiding the forming small internal development team in adopting best practices and modern frameworks.
The Lead Developer salary & benefits:
* Salary: cĀ£50,000 – Ā£55,000 per annum

Some of the main duties of the Lead Developer C# .NET will include:
* Architect and oversee development of internal applications and services.
* Lead the migration of legacy desktop and web applications to .NET Core, ensuring modularity, testability, and cross-platform compatibility.
* Define and enforce coding standards, version control practices (Git), and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure all code is unit tested and reusable across platforms.
* Support and mentor other developers. Conduct code reviews and promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
* Evaluate and recommend frameworks, tools, and technologies aligned with the company\’s long-term goals. Stay current with Microsoft\’s .NET roadmap and industry trends.
