Brief Junior Documentation Engineer needed to join a leading engineering firm based in the Bristol area. What the role of the Junior Documentation Engineer entails: Some of the main duties of the Junior Documentation Engineer will include: Sourcing documents from document management systems Quality checking delivery packages of documents supplied from internal departments and the supply chain Quality checking documents to ensure functionality of the Interactive Electronic Technical Publication (IETP) is maintained Managing data in a Common Source Database (CSDB) Utilising trilogy software to build IETPs by following local instructions and publishing it for the end users to access Assisting the IETP Production Lead to make sure all configuration control of documentation and records is accurately maintainedWhat experience you need to be the successful Junior Documentation Engineer: Essential: HNC/HND or equivalent experience within relevant engineering discipline Practical knowledge of engineering Experience of handling documents and proficient in the discipline of configuration controlDesirable: Previous experience in a technical documentation role Knowledge and understanding of an IETP, ASD S1000D and of a Common Source Database (data vault)To be eligible for this role you will need to undergo Security Clearance Background Checks that require you to be a UK resident and UK passport holder.
