An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure contractor delivering a flagship energy project on the West London/Berkshire border.

Working as part of an experienced site-based commercial team, you'll take responsibility for the end-to-end commercial management of complex civils, building structures and M&E packages on one of the UK's most significant live infrastructure programmes.

This opportunity would suit either:

  • A Quantity Surveyor ready to step up into a Senior QS position, or
  • An existing Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking exposure to larger, more complex projects with a business offering genuine long-term career progression.

In either case, the role will suit someone ambitious, commercially aware and keen to develop within the fast-growing energy infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities
  • Subcontract procurement and commercial management
  • Cost reporting and forecasting
  • Variations and change management
  • Valuations and final accounts
  • Supporting commercial strategy and risk management
  • Administration of NEC contracts
  • Working closely with delivery teams across civils, structures and M&E works
  • Mentoring and supporting junior surveyors on the project
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience within infrastructure, utilities, energy, heavy civils or major building projects
  • Good understanding of NEC contracts
  • Experience managing subcontract packages
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management preferred
