Overview

We're partnering with a leading defence engineering organisation developing high-performance RF and electronic systems for complex, real-world environments. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an RF / Antenna Engineer to support the design, simulation, and validation of antenna and electromagnetic systems across a range of programmes.

This role would suit either:

  • An experienced Antenna/EM specialist, or
  • An RF Engineer with strong electromagnetics knowledge looking to specialise further

What You will Be Doing:

  • Design and develop antenna systems for demanding applications
  • Perform electromagnetic simulation and analysis (e.g. radiation patterns, impedance, coupling)
  • Support integration of antennas into wider electronic systems
  • Work closely with hardware, mechanical, and systems engineers
  • Support testing and validation, including lab and chamber-based measurements
  • Contribute to technical reviews and engineering documentation

What We are Looking For:

  • Background in RF engineering, electromagnetics, or antenna design
  • Understanding of electromagnetic theory and RF principles
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g. CST, HFSS, FEKO or similar) or strong willingness to learn
  • Experience in electronics or RF system integration
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Desirable:

  • Direct antenna design experience
  • Experience in defence, aerospace, or telecoms
  • Knowledge of EMC considerations
  • Experience with measurement/testing (VNA, anechoic chambers, etc.)

Why Apply?

  • Work on complex, real-world RF systems, not just theory
  • Opportunity to specialise further in electromagnetics and antenna design
  • Collaborative engineering environment with strong technical depth
  • Long-term programmes offering stability and progression

PLEASE NOTE: Security Clearance (SC) or eligibility to gain is required to be considered for this vacancy.
