Maintenance Craftsperson Edmonton £38,400 Shifts - Days only - 4 on 4 off - 7am-7pm Brief Maintenance Craftsperson needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Edmonton who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Maintenance Craftsperson that takes pride in their work. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems such as HVAC, boilers, and plumbing. You'll carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), fault repairs, blockage clearance, and perform Authorised Person (AP) and Competent Person (CP) duties. Benefits Salary: £35,000 - £38,400 per annum 24 day's holiday Pension Plan Career Progression What the role entails: Some of the main duties of the Maintenance Craftsperson will include: Conduct routine PPM and emergency repairs on mechanical systems. Diagnose and clear blockages in plumbing and drainage. Perform AP and CP duties to ensure system safety and compliance. Take part in a 1-week per month on-call rota. Maintain Health & Safety compliance and complete risk assessments. Collaborate with teams and provide technical support as needed. What experience you need to be the successful Maintenance Craftsperson: Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within healthcare or critical infrastructure. Skilled in HVAC, boilers, plumbing, and mechanical fault finding. Experienced in AP and CP duties and Health & Safety practices. Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and able to work independently or in teams. Mechanical qualifications and healthcare experience desirable.
