Following our successful appointment onto the Public Sector Resourcing Framework, we are looking for an ambitious and highly organised Account Manager to take ownership of an important area of the business. This is a unique opportunity to manage and develop recruitment delivery across a wide range of prestigious public sector organisations including central government departments, defence organisations, infrastructure providers and regulatory bodies.

As the Account Manager you will manage a number of contract vacancies received whilst developing permanent business, ensuring an exceptional level of service to both clients and candidates. This role combines delivery, account management, stakeholder engagement and operational excellence. It would suit an experienced recruitment professional who enjoys managing processes, building relationships and delivering results in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and delivering to the numerous contract vacancies
  • Coordinating recruitment activity across multiple public sector clients including government departments and major infrastructure organisations
  • Sourcing candidates through various methods
  • Screening and interviewing candidates to assess suitability and eligibility
  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process from vacancy release through to placement
  • Ensuring compliance with framework requirements and public sector recruitment processes
  • Building strong relationships with hiring managers, stakeholders and candidates
  • Monitoring portal activity, SLAs, KPIs and recruitment performance metrics
  • Producing high-quality candidate submissions and vacancy advertising campaigns
  • Supporting the future growth and development of a dedicated public sector recruitment team

Experience required:

  • Previous recruitment experience is essential, whether as a Delivery Consultant, Recruitment Consultant, Internal Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist or Account Manager
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working with systems, portals and recruitment technology
  • High attention to detail and a process-driven approach
  • Self-motivated, proactive and capable of working independently
  • A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within a growing recruitment business
