Recruitment Consultant / Senior Recruitment Consultant - Engineering
Salary: Β£25,000 - Β£45,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission

Gold Group is a well-established, employee-owned recruitment business based in East Grinstead, West Sussex; who support a range of clients in specialist industries including Defence, Life Sciences, Engineering, Construction, IT and Renewables.
Due to continued growth, we're looking for ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultants to join our engineering team, ideally with experience or interest in markets such as Nuclear, Defence, Aerospace, FMCG, Automotive, Water etc.
The key part of your role as a Recruitment Consultant will be:
- Managing the full 360 recruitment lifecycle, taking ownership of your own desk and building long-term client partnerships.
- Full 360 recruitment delivery from business development through to placement.
- Developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts.
- Managing and growing key client partnerships within specialist engineering markets.
- Proactively sourcing and engaging high-quality candidates.
- Using social media and professional networks to build your personal and company brand.
- Working towards clearly defined KPIs, revenue targets and performance goals.
As a Recruitment Consultant you should have the following:
- Previous recruitment experience or a background in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment.
- A proven track record in business development or account growth.
- Strong drive, resilience and ambition to succeed in a performance-led role.
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with clients and candidates.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.
