The successful Contracts Manager will work closely with stakeholders across multiple directorates, ensuring effective contract management practices are embedded and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
As the Contracts Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of contract management strategies across assigned business areas.
- Provide expert contract management support and guidance to contract managers and stakeholders.
- Build strong business partnering relationships, enabling contract owners to successfully manage supplier performance and contractual obligations.
- Lead and support contract negotiations in line with governance requirements and organisational policies.
- Deliver contract performance reporting, insights, and portfolio management information.
- Monitor contract expiry pipelines and support renewal, replacement, and exit planning activities.
- Support procurement, transition, and mobilisation activities to ensure effective contract management from contract award onwards.
- Develop and deliver contract management training, guidance, tools, and best practice resources.
- Promote effective use of contract management systems, data, and reporting to improve commercial decision-making.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with suppliers, government bodies, and internal stakeholders.
