The successful Contracts Manager will work closely with stakeholders across multiple directorates, ensuring effective contract management practices are embedded and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of contract management strategies across assigned business areas.
  • Provide expert contract management support and guidance to contract managers and stakeholders.
  • Build strong business partnering relationships, enabling contract owners to successfully manage supplier performance and contractual obligations.
  • Lead and support contract negotiations in line with governance requirements and organisational policies.
  • Deliver contract performance reporting, insights, and portfolio management information.
  • Monitor contract expiry pipelines and support renewal, replacement, and exit planning activities.
  • Support procurement, transition, and mobilisation activities to ensure effective contract management from contract award onwards.
  • Develop and deliver contract management training, guidance, tools, and best practice resources.
  • Promote effective use of contract management systems, data, and reporting to improve commercial decision‑making.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with suppliers, government bodies, and internal stakeholders.
