Mobile Mechanical Engineer needed for a well-known, large Facilities Management organisation based in Birmingham who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mobile Mechanical Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of Mechanical Engineering in diagnostics, repair mechanical systems, plant and equipment. Delivering PPMs for HVAC, Boilers, pumps etc.

Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum + Van + Fuel card

Some of the main duties of the Mobile Mechanical Engineer will include:

  • Diagnose, fault‐find and repair mechanical systems, plant and equipment in accordance with legislation, standards and procedures
  • Deliver PPM across mechanical building services (HVAC, boilers, pumps, heating, ventilation, water services, etc.)
  • Undertake minor mechanical installations, upgrades and adaptation works
  • Resolve mechanical faults and plant defects quickly to keep systems safe and operational
  • Participate in the on‐call rota

What experience you need to be the successful Mobile Mechanical Engineer:

  • City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 equivalent qualification relevant to Plumbing
  • Post apprenticeship experience within a maintenance environment
  • Recognised apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline to City & Guilds level
  • Previously worked within a maintenance environment
  • Valid driving licence
  • Experience working within an education, healthcare, or large‐estate facilities environment. (Desirable)
