Mobile Mechanical Engineer needed for a well-known, large Facilities Management organisation based in Birmingham who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mobile Mechanical Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of Mechanical Engineering in diagnostics, repair mechanical systems, plant and equipment. Delivering PPMs for HVAC, Boilers, pumps etc.
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum + Van + Fuel card
- 24 days' annual leave increasing to 25 days once 2 years' service is reached (+ public holidays)

Some of the main duties of the Mobile Mechanical Engineer will include:
- Diagnose, fault‐find and repair mechanical systems, plant and equipment in accordance with legislation, standards and procedures
- Deliver PPM across mechanical building services (HVAC, boilers, pumps, heating, ventilation, water services, etc.)
- Undertake minor mechanical installations, upgrades and adaptation works
- Resolve mechanical faults and plant defects quickly to keep systems safe and operational
- Participate in the on‐call rota
What experience you need to be the successful Mobile Mechanical Engineer:
- City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 equivalent qualification relevant to Plumbing
- Post apprenticeship experience within a maintenance environment
- Recognised apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline to City & Guilds level
- Previously worked within a maintenance environment
- Valid driving licence
- Experience working within an education, healthcare, or large‐estate facilities environment. (Desirable)
