Heating Engineer - ASHP
We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join may clients team in York. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient design, installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems within residential and commercial properties. This permanent, full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our commitment to high-quality service in the building and construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Design the heat pump system following a survey of the customers property
- Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and ensure optimal performance of heating equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
- Stay updated on the latest industry developments, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in heating engineering or a related field minimum Level 3 NVQ
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
- Level 2 NVQ in plumbing and heating
- NICEIC unit 4, "Level 3 Award in Low Temperature Heating and Hot Water Systems in Dwellings
- At least 1 years experience fitting air source and ground source heat pumps
- Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role working with heat pumps.
- Strong understanding of heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
