Salary: £40,000 + Benefits

The Role:

As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for:

  • Product testing for conformance, including typical tests such as continuity, bonding, and resistance.
  • Programming and use of ATEs is very desirable.
  • Adherence to work instructions and managing non-conforming products.
  • Working with high volume electrical cable manufacturing as well as one-off or investigation work.
  • Working to IPC610 & 620 standards.

Required skills:

  • Essential:
  • IPC620 - Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies.
  • Understanding and handling of ESD products.
  • Performing electrical inspection verification using measurement hand tools such as Digital Volt Multimeters and Ohmmeters.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Desirable:
  • IPC610 - Electronic Assembly Standard.
  • ATE programming and testing.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with SAP or similar systems.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
  • Logical approach to problem-solving and data interpretation.
