The Role:
As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for:
- Product testing for conformance, including typical tests such as continuity, bonding, and resistance.
- Programming and use of ATEs is very desirable.
- Adherence to work instructions and managing non-conforming products.
- Working with high volume electrical cable manufacturing as well as one-off or investigation work.
- Working to IPC610 & 620 standards.
Required skills:
- Essential:
- IPC620 - Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies.
- Understanding and handling of ESD products.
- Performing electrical inspection verification using measurement hand tools such as Digital Volt Multimeters and Ohmmeters.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately.
- Basic problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Desirable:
- IPC610 - Electronic Assembly Standard.
- ATE programming and testing.
- Ability to manage changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with SAP or similar systems.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
- Logical approach to problem-solving and data interpretation.
