Electrical QS - SolarAs a Qualified Supervisor Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality electrical installations and providing technical supervision and oversight to ensure all electrical work is completed safely, correctly and in accordance with current regulations and industry standards.Responsibilities:Working on renewable energy and heating installations, primarily in domestic settings, including Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV installations and EV charging points.Carrying out first and second fix electrical installations.Inspecting, testing and certifying electrical installations.Completing Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs) and other relevant electrical certification.Acting as the company's Qualified Supervisor, providing technical oversight and ensuring electrical work meets requirements and applicable regulations.Carrying out quality checks and inspections of electrical installations completed by the wider electrical team.Identifying and resolving electrical and technical issues, providing practical and compliant solutions.Ensuring all electrical installations comply with BS 7671 (18th Edition), Building Regulations, NICEIC requirements and relevant statutory legislation.Supporting the development and maintenance of safe systems of work and electrical best practice.Supporting the commissioning and handover of renewable energy systems.Requirements:City & Guilds Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification or equivalent.Inspection & Testing qualification.Full clean UK driving licence.Experience with Solar PV, EV chargers and heat pump installations.Benifits:25 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany sick payPrivate Medical InsuranceFamily-supportive policies, with enhanced maternity and paternity leave availableGenerous pension schemeLife AssuranceServices advertised by Gold Group are those of an Agency and/or an Employment Business.For a copy of our privacy policy please visit our website.
