An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading cost and project management consultancy on a two-year energy project in Barrow-in-Furness. The role offers an attractive day rate of £500-540 per day and will fall outside IR35. The role will require an on-site presence for up to three days per week offering a mix of site and remote working.
My client has two opportunities on this project:
- The first requires a strong all-around QS with significant post-contract NEC experience. You will need to have experience in managing costs, variations and contractual matters on a major project.
- The second will be focused around carrying out Forensic Analysis and will require experience in forensic cost analysis or substantial claims experience.
Experience in the following areas is also important:
- Strong background in NEC contracts (Essential)
- Experience within the energy, power or other regulated sectors will be of particular interest
- Client-side or site based experience is preferred, though candidates with a strong contractor background will also be considered.
