Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Contract)
Rate: £500-650 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: West London
Contract Length: Long-term contract, forecast to January 2026
I am looking for an experienced, contractor-side Quantity Surveyor for an immediate start on a long-term contract in West London.
The Quantity Surveyor will take commercial lead on a major civils package and support the commercial management of the Headhouse Roof & Cladding packages. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you will drive the full subcontract lifecycle from instruction to final account.
Key Responsibilities & Experience Required:
- Full Subcontract Management: Demonstratable experience managing the entire subcontractor lifecycle: drafting instructions, assessing Compensation Events (CEs), processing Applications for Payment (AFPs), and reporting final account positions.
- Contractor Background: You must have recent experience working directly for a main contractor on major civils or building projects.
- NEC Expert: Practical knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 forms of contract and subcontract is essential.
- Systems: Proficient with commercial management software, specifically CEMAR.
