Quantity Surveyor – Water Sector | Water Capital Projects £50,000-£60,000 + £4,800 Car Allowance + Package Hampton, Watford or WalthamstowAre you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to build your career within the water sector? A leading infrastructure contractor delivering long-term frameworks with a major water provider in the South East is seeking a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on essential water and wastewater infrastructure projects, offering long-term security, structured career progression, and exposure to a major UK utilities framework.As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of a portfolio of projects across water treatment, pipelines, and network upgrades. Working within an established commercial team, you'll support the delivery of projects from early-stage procurement through to final account, typically valued between £5m and £25m.Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of water infrastructure projects
- Subcontract procurement, negotiation, and administration
- Preparation of cost plans, valuations, and financial reporting
- Managing variations, change control, and compensation events
- Supporting monthly CVR reporting and forecasting
- Ensuring compliance with the NEC contract
- Building strong relationships with internal teams and client representatives
Requirements
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, utilities, or civil engineering
- Water sector experience highly desirable
