An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to deliver commercial and industrial renewable energy projects, with a focus on Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP) and Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP). This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong commercial awareness and experience managing complex M&E, HVAC, or energy projects across multiple sites. You must be comfortable with regular travel throughout the UK.
The Role
- Deliver projects safely, on time, within scope and budget
- Manage full project lifecycle from planning through to handover
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Oversee design development, BIM coordination, and site delivery
- Manage project P&L, procurement, and cost control
- Produce and maintain project programmes and progress reports
- Lead site teams, set targets, and ensure resource availability
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communication
- Ensure full compliance with HSEQ requirements, including RAMS and site safety
- Deliver zero-defect handovers and minimise project snags
Requirements
- Proven Project Manager experience in construction, M&E, HVAC, or renewable energy
- Experience delivering commercial or industrial heat pump projects (GSHP and/or ASHP preferred)
- Strong commercial and financial management skills
- Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams
- Solid understanding of site-based H&S and compliance
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Based in the Northern Home Counties
- Happy with regular, nationwide travel and site-based work
