I am seeking a Product Support Engineer to join the Post Design Support Team, supporting both in-service and in-production defence equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of engineering projects, helping to maintain, improve and support products that play a critical role in defence capability.

The Opportunity

As a Product Support Engineer, you will work closely with engineering and project teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions across the full engineering lifecycle. You will provide technical support and design input on a range of electrical and electronic systems, ensuring products remain reliable, effective and fit for purpose throughout their operational life. This role offers excellent variety and the chance to develop your engineering expertise across multiple disciplines within a highly supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support a portfolio of complex, mission-critical systems throughout their service life
  • Manage and implement engineering design changes across the product lifecycle
  • Provide technical support across in-service and production engineering activities
  • Review and support electrical designs, schematics and engineering documentation
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing and project teams
  • Liaise directly with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues
  • Participate in internal and external technical meetings and reviews
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation in line with company procedures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across products and processes
