An exciting opportunity has opened for an ambitious Intermediate Planning Engineer to join one of the construction industry’s most respected main contractors, based in the heart of the City of London. Joining a highly experienced planning team of five and reporting directly to the Planning Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role across the full project lifecycle — from producing winning tender programmes to driving projects through construction and successful completion. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role offering exposure to a diverse portfolio of major schemes. With a booming order book, increasing tender activity, and positions on several major frameworks, the business is expanding its planning function to meet growing demand. Projects span a wide range of sectors including Commercial, Education, Residential, Healthcare, and Mixed-Use developments, typically valued between £10m and £100m.

Experience

  • At least 3 years’ experience in construction planning
  • Main contractor background
  • Relevant construction qualification
  • Site-based project experience
  • Strong knowledge of different forms of contract

  • Excellent communication skills

Offer
