A leading UK main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join the team delivering a landmark £300m mixed-use development in Central London. This exciting city-centre scheme will comprise residential towers, retail and leisure facilities, offering the opportunity to play a key role on a major, high-profile project that will shape part of London’s evolving skyline.

Working closely with the Project Director and site teams, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction programme using Asta Powerproject, ensuring it is robust, accurate and aligned with the overall project delivery strategy. This is a critical role where you will drive programme performance, communicate planning strategy effectively across the project team and provide the insight needed to support the successful delivery of this complex development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the construction programme for a major mixed-use development
  • Develop, maintain and oversee detailed programmes using Asta Powerproject
  • Work closely with the Project Director, site teams and commercial teams to ensure programme alignment
  • Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Communicate programme updates and planning strategy effectively to project stakeholders
  • Support successful delivery through strong site-based planning leadership

Requirements

  • Extensive UK main contracting experience
  • Proven site-based planning experience on major city-centre developments valued £100m+
  • Advanced Asta Powerproject skills
  • Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing on complex build projects
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
