NEW JOB – Maintenance Technician – Natural Gas
Powered by natural gas, biomethane or mixed with hydrogen, our CHPs convert 40% of the energy into electricity and 51% into usable heat; 9% is unrecoverable energy losses.
There are also no non-commodity charges on CHP-generated electricity, which saves 30% compared to grid electricity.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer specializing in Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems with a focus on natural gas applications.
CHP Systems experience: Jenbacher, MAN, MTU, CAT, Perkins etc
Equipment activities: Striping down engines, Oil changes, Filter changes, Spark plugs, cylinders, Heat exchanges, Pumps, flow rates and Pressured systems.
- Start: December/January 2025
- Location: Stoke-on-Trent (Manchester, Sheffield, Derby & surrounding areas)
- SALARY: £35,000 GROSS PA – £45,000 GROSS PA+ Over time.
- Company vehicle, laptop and tools will be provided.
- A non-discretionary bonus is also available
- MAN, CHP unit training in Germany (1 week)
