Our client, an established defence manufacturing firm, requires an experienced IPC 620 Electrical Inspector to join their multi-disciplined team.

Candidates would need to have lived & worked in the UK for 5+ years and be eligible for BPSS and SC security clearance. Applicants without this experience will be discounted.

What the role of the Electrical Inspector entails:

  • Product testing for conformance, which includes typical tests such as continuity, bonding, resistance.
  • Programming and use of ATEs is very desirable.
  • Work consists of high volume electrical cable manufacturing as well as one-off or investigation work.

What experience you need to be the successful Electrical Inspector:

  • IPC620 – Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
  • Performing electrical inspection verification by use of measurement hand tools such as Digital Volt Multimeters, Ohmmeters.
