We are on the search for a Principal Systems Engineer to work on cutting-edge maritime and underwater defence technologies delivering mission-critical capability to allied naval forces worldwide.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle
  • Defining and managing complex requirements and traceability
  • Developing secure system architectures and interface definitions
  • Supporting integration, verification, validation and qualification activities
  • Collaborating with software, electrical and mechanical engineering teams
  • Ensuring compliance with defence standards, safety and security requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience designing secure systems within Defence / MoD environments
  • Strong Systems Engineering and requirements management expertise
  • Experience with verification, validation and system integration
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jama, Jira or MBSE methodologies
  • Ability to work within highly regulated, security-conscious programmes
  • Ideal backgrounds include Defence, Maritime, Aerospace, Secure Communications or Complex Electronic Systems.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC).
