Mobile Maintenance Assistant needed for a large, well-known Facilities Management organisation based in Greater Manchester who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Maintenance Assistant that takes pride in their work with knowledge of maintenance, basic fabric handyperson skills and health and safety procedures.

What the role entails:
- Reporting to the Maintenance Manager
- To undertake any allocated jobs as directed by Maintenance Manager, in line with requests sent via PDA/mobile devices
- To respond promptly and efficiently to breakdowns and ensure all associated paperwork is completed in a satisfactory, accurate and prompt manner
- To carry out general duties including support by manual labour for relocations and moves, tidying and cleaning Estates areas and Plant rooms
- Work alone with minimum supervision or within a team to carry out routine maintenance, repair, and cleaning activity across the estate
- Responsible for ensuring cleaning materials and chemicals are available at all sites
- Required to attend training programmes as necessary to meet contract requirements and for self-development purposes
- Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch break plus participation in the on-call rota (1 in 8 which includes weekends)
What experience you need to be the successful Mobile Maintenance Assistant:
- Experience in a maintenance role and of PPM completion is desirable
- Good customer care and people skills
- Ability to work well in a team or unsupervised
- Basic fabric handyperson skills
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
- Must have a full valid UK driving licence due to requirement to travel between sites across Greater Manchester
- Due to the nature of the contract, successful postholder must be able to obtain and maintain security vetting
