Mobile Mechanical Engineer needed for a large, well-known Facilities Management organisation based in the South of England who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mechanical Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of Mechanical Engineering including PPM's and reactive maintenance on AHU/FHU and pump and valve replacement.
The successful candidate would desirably have a relevant qualification, i.e. NVQ Level 3 in a Mechanical discipline, and have a keen interest in Mechanical Engineering. If you have commercial experience in maintenance and installations that would be a plus!

What the role entails
- Carry out scheduled planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks on mechanical systems.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs or replacements across plant and equipment, responding promptly to emergency breakdowns including participation in an on-call rota.
- Supervise and manage third-party contractor work as required.
- Maintain accurate records via CAFM systems and electronic reporting tools, provide input into condition and dilapidation reports, and liaise effectively with clients to ensure excellent customer service.
What experience you need to be the successful Mobile Mechanical Engineer
- Possess a recognised apprenticeship (EITB/CITB) or relevant technical qualifications, with City & Guilds or equivalent in mechanical disciplines.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Experienced in M&E services within commercial or corporate environments, familiar with CAFM systems.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics.
- Awareness of Legionella control (L8) and working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- (Desirable) Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH/IOSH) and experience working with multiple manufacturer systems and equipment.
