Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Location: RAF Marham, Norfolk
Role Type: Permanent
Salary: Β£36,443 + benefits & relocation support potential
Aircraft Mechanics required to provide support to the F-35 Fleet based at RAF Marham.
4 Day Week Mon - Thurs! Hours: 07.15 - 17.00.
Candidates would need to hold British nationality and have lived & worked in the UK for 5+ years and be eligible for SC security clearance.
What the role of the Aircraft Maintenance Technician entails:
- You will be undertaking a range of maintenance on an aircraft which may include, as appropriate, aircraft role changes, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system test
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with the Approved Technical Information and relevant risk assessments and that all airworthiness records are maintained
- Make sure all activities are appropriately documented and identify and report any issues and escape as appropriate
- Procedure/Standards - Complying with the Organisations MOE, its associated procedures and standards, and any other company procedures and standards
- Safety Management System - You will understand and apply human factors, error management, within maintenance
- Continuing Airworthiness Assurance (Quality) - Ensuring maintenance activities are compliant with the Continuing Airworthiness Assurance Management system
What experience you need to be the successful Aircraft Maintenance Technician:
- Experience of EASA/MRP Part 145
- Experience of working on military aircraft programmesCompletion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent military qualifications
- Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent e.g. City & Guilds 2675 or 2661.
