We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner with a strong Mechanical & Electrical background to join a leading contractor client on a long-term freelance contract basis. This is a key regional role, where you will take responsibility for overseeing the planning function across a portfolio of projects throughout Devon and Cornwall. Working closely with project and site teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring programmes are robust, realistic and effectively managed from pre-construction through to delivery.
The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, combining site visits, office collaboration and remote working. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term freelance position with a busy contractor and a strong pipeline of work. This role would suit an experienced M&E Senior Planner looking for a long-term, flexible freelance opportunity with a well-established and busy contractor.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the planning function across multiple M&E projects in the region
- Develop and manage construction programmes using Asta Powerproject
- Support project teams with planning input at pre-construction and delivery stages
- Monitor progress, manage change and provide accurate programme reporting
- Work closely with site, commercial and management teams to support successful project delivery
- Proven experience as a Senior Planner within an M&E contracting environment
- Strong Mechanical & Electrical background
- Advanced user of Asta Powerproject
