The Role
What will you be doing as a Modelling & Simulation Systems Engineer?
- External flow aerodynamics modelling
- Trajectory modelling and analysis
- Aerothermodynamics modelling
- Model optimisation and calibration
- Ground trials analysis
- Technical reporting and presentation of results to internal and customer stakeholders
Qualifications
What are we looking for in our next Modelling & Simulation Systems Engineer?
- Experience in numerical modelling and computational methods
- Basic understanding of statistical methods
- Degree-level education (or equivalent experiential learning) with exposure to aeronautical or aerospace engineering
- Experience in high-speed aerodynamic analysis (hypersonics experience desirable)
- Demonstrable application of modelling and simulation skills
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Strong technical report writing skills
- Confident presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
- Self-motivated with the ability to deliver programme milestones
- Comfortable engaging with customers and senior stakeholders
- Experience working in a classified environment (preferred)
- Willingness to pursue DV clearance (preferred)
