The Day Fuel Reception Operator is needed for a large waste management organisation based in Ardley, Oxfordshire who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded individual that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of traffic management, operating heavy plant and delivering.

The successful candidate would need to have experience in the operation of mobile plant. Also, a certification in Lifting/Slinging, Plant or FLT would be a plus!

What the role entails:

The Day Fuel Reception Operative is a vital team player within the Shift Team, predominantly responsible for the fuel reception at the ERF and other plant areas. Your duties will include traffic management, operating heavy plant, operation of overhead cranes, forklift trucks and any other machinery as required in accordance with ERF procedures. Additional duties may comprise of weighbridge operation, plant checks, site cleaning duties and Tipping Hall management. You will manage waste movements and bulky materials during peak periods of the day.

What experience you need to be the successful Day Fuel Reception Operator:

  • Experience in the operation of mobile plants
  • Lifting / Slinging, plant or FLT certification
  • Experience of safe systems of work, permits for Work, procedures, risk assessments and associated safety documentation
  • Engineering, Technical or Operational qualification
  • Ability to think logically and solve problems effectively and efficiently
